Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country located in Central Europe, with an area of 312,696 square kilometers and a population of about 39 million. Poland’s capital and largest metropolis is Warsaw. The official language is Polish.

The year 1937 is considered as the year of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Poland is a country that has always supported the most important integration processes of Albania.

Political dialogue, contacts and visits are intense and productive.

The relations with Poland are considered as traditionally very good. A friendly country that has supported the most important processes in which Albania is engaged, following the fall of the Berlin Wall, the NATO membership and the integration into the European Union. In all high-level meetings the Albanian side is assured for the support of Poland, which is not only on the political level. The Polish airline LOT inaugurated its initial regular and permanent flight Warsaw-Tirana-Warsaw on 2 November 2021. There is increased interest of Polish tourists to visit Albania.
