Uzbekistan, officially the Republic of Uzbekistan, is a doubly landlocked country located in Central Asia. Capital city is Tashkent.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Uzbekistan were established in November 1993 through the exchange of diplomatic notes.

Albania covers Uzbekistan from our Embassy in Moscow, while Uzbekistan covers Albania from its embassy in Vienna.

Although there are no reservations limiting bilateral relations, currently they are quite modest and can be summed up in cooperation in international organizations and protocol exchanges. Bilateral relations are rather present in the cooperation in international organizations such as the UN, OSCE and OIC, where there have been cases of supporting candidacies.

There is no concrete cooperation in the field of economy.
