The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs will enable the implementation of the “Islands 2024” project again this year, with the aim of equipping Albanian citizens who live and work in the areas around the Aegean islands with biometric documents. /Mediterranean.

Within the implementation of this project, the special team will be located in: Heraklion, Crete on April 22, 23 and 24, 2024, and in Rhodes, on April 25, 26 and 27, 2024 .

Those interested, in addition to the obligation to complete the application in e-Albania, must send their request to consulate.athens@mfa.gov.al with the subject ” Islands 2024″, as well as the following data:

Name/Surname of applicant

Personal number (NID)

Passport and/or ID card application code (03AT…)

Residential address – Island

The deadline to apply is April 19, 2024.

Applications are made for free via the platform www.e-albania.al and the real cost of the passport/ID card is 130/12 euros.

Payment for the renewal of biometric passports and ID cards, as well as other services, can be made with any type of bank card through POS terminals, which will be installed in the premises of the designated Office .
