Presidency of Albania in CEI

Central European Initiative (January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024). Albania considers the Central European Initiative as an instigator of political dialogue and as a maximum platform for regional cooperation, thus supporting the peace, stability, security and economic progress of the member states. We also appreciate that democratic values, the rule of law and fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as good neighborly relations are essential pillars for the CEI’s vision of promoting regional cooperation and the EU integration process. The priorities of the Albanian CEI presidency include: European integration, cultural and tourism cooperation, Policy Dialogue on health challenges, as well as strengthening parliamentary cooperation and presenting the role of the CEI Parliamentary Convention process.
