Netherlands “Yes!” to the opening of negotiations for Albania, Xhaçka: Ready for the First Intergovernmental Conference

Albania is now one step closer to opening negotiations with the European Union. The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, informs that the Dutch parliament has voted in favor of holding the first Albania–EU Intergovernmental Conference.

“The Netherlands gives the green light for Albania! The Dutch Parliament votes for the holding of the first Intergovernmental Conference because of Albania’s fulfilling of all conditions. This is much welcomed news and a well-deserved recognition of our reform deliverance”, the Minister stated in social networks.
