CALL FOR APPLICATION

CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION OF THE SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE (SR) ON YOUTH AND SECURITY OF THE OSCE TROIKA

In the framework of the Albania's participation as part of the OSCE Troika, an Albanian candidacy will be nominated as Special Representative (SR) on youth and security of the Troika.

The SR are representatives of the Presidency on issues related to youth. The SR post is a non-remunerated, voluntary and honorary position.

The criteria to be met by the candidates for SR are:

• To have recognised experience with civil society and youth movements;
• To have experience in national and international youth policies, including on the concept of youth mainstreaming;
• Knowledge on the core notions of the work of international organizations;
• Knowledge of the concept of European security and dialogue;
• Fluency in English language. Knowledge of another OSCE language is an advantage;
• Strong knowledge in at least one of OSCE dimensions of security and cooperation, in particular the first one, the politico - military dimension.
• Strong ability to speak in public and good presentation;
• Good organizational skills and team working, as well as good communication skills.
• Preferred age is 18-30 years old.
• Female candidates are advantaged;

The candidates should be ready and available to travel frequently, adapting to a flexible schedule. Also, the candidates should be willing to commit on average minimum 1 day per week.

The candidates, who meet the above mentioned criterias, will be invited to take written and oral tests in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Information on the time of the test will be notified to the candidates from the MEFA.
