The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a series of meetings with Ambassadors accredited to Tirana.

In a meeting with the Ambassador of Greece, Lambrini Komini, Minister Hoxha highlighted the strong and enduring partnership between the two countries. “Greece remains a key strategic partner for Albania. We are committed to advancing our cooperation in a constructive and forward-looking spirit,” he stated, underscoring opportunities to deepen collaboration in energy, trade, tourism, infrastructure, and people-to-people ties, as well as appreciating Greece’s continued support for Albania’s EU integration.

Meeting the first resident Ambassador of India to Tirana, Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal, Minister Hoxha emphasized the significance of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. “This milestone reflects our shared values and opens new avenues to build a stronger and more dynamic partnership,” he noted, highlighting the recent opening of Embassies in both capitals and the potential to expand cooperation across sectors.

During his meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Iskander Aysariyev, Minister Hoxha welcomed the steady progress in relations. “The opening of Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Tirana is a clear sign of our shared commitment to strengthening bilateral ties,” he said, reaffirming cooperation in promoting peace, security, and multilateral engagement, including within the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

These meetings reflect Albania’s continued engagement in building strong, forward-looking international partnerships.
