Albania welcomes the 10-day ceasefire declared between Israel and Lebanon, mediated by President Trump, as a constructive and necessary step toward reducing tensions and preventing further loss of life.

 While calling for the full respect of the ceasefire by all parties, Albania emphasizes that Hezbollah must cease any hostile actions against Israel and act in accordance with the decisions and authority of the Government of Lebanon.

 We hope that this development will help create the conditions for meaningful dialogue between Israel and Lebanon, paving the way for a sustainable and comprehensive de-escalation process.

Albania encourages all parties, together with international partners, to build on this positive momentum and act in a coordinated manner to achieve lasting peace, security, and stability in the region
