“Shared Challenges, Shared Future: Ukraine and Southeastern Europe for a Secure and Stable Europe”

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania announces that on 12 June 2026, Tirana will host the Ministerial Meeting “Ukraine – Southeastern Europe”, bringing together Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Southeastern European countries and Ukraine, as well as representatives of European institutions. This Ministerial Meeting is co-organized by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Ferit Hoxha, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Andrii Sybiha.

The Ministerial Meeting will serve as an important platform for political dialogue, solidarity, and enhanced coordination between Ukraine and the countries of Southeastern Europe. Discussions will focus on regional security, resilience against hybrid threats, energy security, economic recovery, as well as support for Ukraine’s reconstruction and long-term recovery efforts. The Meeting will also underline the importance of strengthened regional cooperation, enhanced Euro-Atlantic coordination, and continued advancement of the European integration process based on shared values and merit-based approach.

Media representatives wishing to cover this Ministerial Meeting are kindly invited to apply for accreditation.

The media programme will include:

· Protocol opportunities (doorstep/family photo);

· Opening remarks;

· Joint press conference.

The deadline for submitting accreditation requests is 3 June 2026.

Accredited media representatives will receive a confirmation by e-mail, and accreditation badges may be collected at the main lobby of the Tirana International Hotel on:

· Wednesday, 10 June 2026, 10:00–14:00

· Thursday, 11 June 2026, 10:00–14:00
