During his stay in New York, United States of America, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met with Deputy Assistant Secretary for Western, Central and Southern Europe, Daniel Lawton.

The meeting focused on opportunities to further strengthen the Albania-USA strategic partnership, as well as on the importance of continued and close coordination on shared priorities.

Minister Hoxha and Lawton also discussed the current situation and dynamics in the Western Balkans.

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the partnership between the two countries remains an important pillar of their joint engagement as NATO Allies.

“A strong Albania-USA partnership remains an important pillar of our engagement, including as NATO Allies, for a safer, more stable and more prosperous region,” Minister Hoxha wrote.
