The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, met in New York, United States of America, with Dame Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans.

In a statement posted on X, Minister Hoxha said that the meeting focused on current developments and dynamics across the Western Balkans, as well as the importance of regional cooperation and connectivity.

“We also exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities ahead, as well as on the importance of continued close coordination between Albania and the United Kingdom in support of a more stable, safer, and more European Western Balkans,” Hoxha stated.

According to Minister Hoxha, the partnership with the United Kingdom remains an important part of Albania’s engagement in the region and beyond.
