Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, has expressed his condolences following the tragic incident near Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina, involving a EUFOR helicopter, which resulted in three fatalities and twelve people injured.

In a statement on the X platform, Minister Hoxha extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government and people of Italy. He also wished all those injured a swift and full recovery.

Minister Hoxha stressed that, in this difficult moment, Albania stands with Italy, a friendly country and NATO Ally, as well as with the entire EUFOR community.

He also underlined the shared commitment of Albanian personnel serving alongside their Italian colleagues and other EUFOR military personnel in support of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
