The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha met with Ambassador Michel Tarran, Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, to discuss cooperation and future priorities.

The Minister highlighted the OSCE Presence’s longstanding support to Albania’s democratic development and emphasized the need to further evolve the partnership in line with the country’s progress on its European Union path.

Quoting from his statement, he underlined: “Albania remains a steadfast supporter of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and the values it embodies comprehensive security, dialogue, democracy, and human dignity.”

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in support of democratic institutions and regional stability.
