The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, received in a meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Albania, Skënder Durmishi.

During the meeting, Minister Hoxha reaffirmed that Kosovo remains an undisputed priority of Albania’s foreign policy, underlining the consistency of this position in previous communications with Kosovo authorities, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca.

The interlocutors assessed the bilateral relations as excellent and reiterated their shared commitment to further deepen the close and special partnership between the two countries. In this context, they emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation across all fields, through strengthened institutional coordination, increased economic exchanges, and the advancement of joint projects of strategic importance, particularly in the areas of security, energy, infrastructure, and education.

Minister Hoxha also underlined Albania’s unwavering support for strengthening Kosovo’s international subjectivity and advancing its Euro-Atlantic integration.
