Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

On the margins of the Bled Strategic Forum, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a meeting with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong and friendly relations between Albania and Montenegro, as well as the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation. The two ministers praised the partnership between our countries, based on good neighbourly relations, NATO alliance, and the shared aspiration for membership in the European Union.

“The strong and friendly relationship between our two countries is that of good neighbours, trusted partners and NATO allies, leading the region’s journey towards membership in the European Union,” said Minister Hoxha following the meeting.

The Minister underscored that Albania will continue to invest in regional cooperation, security and stability, connectivity, and strengthening people-to-people contacts.

“Through this cooperation, we build trust, bring our societies closer together, and create a shared European future for all,” he emphasised.
