The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs held a series of meetings with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Tirana, reaffirming Albania’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing international cooperation.

During the meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of Kuwait, the focus was on expanding cooperation and recognizing Kuwait’s contribution to development projects in Albania. The Minister stated: “We appreciate Kuwait’s continued engagement in Albania and reaffirm the importance of diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and uphold regional stability.”

In discussions with the Ambassador of Slovenia, both sides valued the close and growing cooperation between the two countries. The Minister underlined: “We highlighted the importance of strengthening regional cooperation and maintaining momentum in the European Union enlargement process, as a strategic investment in a more united and resilient Europe.”

During the meeting with the Apostolic Nuncio to Albania, the Minister reaffirmed the strong and longstanding ties with the Holy See and highlighted the importance of interfaith dialogue. He emphasized: “I reaffirmed the strong and enduring relations between Albania and the Holy See, as well as the importance of interfaith harmony and cooperation in promoting peace and human dignity.”

With the Ambassador of Egypt, both sides recognized the solid political relations and the significant untapped potential for expanding economic cooperation. The Minister stated: “While our political relations remain solid, there exists considerable untapped potential in economic cooperation, with a shared aim to further boost trade, investment, and partnerships across key sectors.”

All meetings underscored a shared commitment to deepening partnerships, promoting peace, and supporting regional stability.
