The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, will organize an Open Information Day with representatives of the administrations of Albanian universities, focusing on the procedures and criteria for obtaining visas for foreign students who choose Albania as their study destination.

The meeting will take place on 3 September 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the premises of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA). The event aims to strengthen direct communication with universities by providing clear and practical information on the application criteria, required documentation, as well as the steps involved in visa and residence permit procedures.

An important part of the meeting will be dedicated to addressing issues identified by universities and international students throughout the application process, with the aim of addressing these concerns and providing concrete clarifications from the competent institutions.
