On the margins of the Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism in Washington, D.C., Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and Under Secretary of State Alison Hooker.

During the meetings, Minister Hoxha and the two senior U.S. Department of State officials discussed a range of issues of mutual interest between Albania and its strategic partner, the United States of America.

“Together with Deputy Secretary Landau, and during a more in-depth meeting with Under Secretary Alison Hooker, we discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest with our strategic partner and Ally, the United States of America, and reaffirmed our shared commitment to further strengthening our cooperation,” Minister Hoxha wrote on X.

Minister Hoxha added that the discussions also underscored the strong and enduring ties between Albania and the United States—a friendship rooted in shared values and reinforced by decades of close partnership.

According to the Minister, this strategic partnership is founded on an unwavering commitment to freedom, democracy, security, and prosperity.
