Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

“Bringing the state closer to the citizen.”

With this message, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, announced the launch of a new process enabling citizens to evaluate consular services directly, with the aim of improving the quality of service provided.

Starting today, at every location where consular services are provided, at every service counter where procedures are carried out, and in every waiting area, both at the Ministry and at Albanian diplomatic missions and consulates, citizens will find a QR Code that they can scan to complete a service evaluation form.

“With a simple scan, citizens will be able to share their feedback on the service they have received, identify any problems or concerns and, above all, tell us what we can do differently, better and faster,” Minister Hoxha stated in a video message.

According to the Minister, the QR Code represents an open channel of communication between citizens and the institution, enabling the identification of issues and the collection of suggestions for improving services.

“Our message is simple: tell us what is not working, suggest what we can improve, and we will work to do better. Because consular service is not simply an administrative procedure. It is a point of contact between the state and the citizen. And at that point of contact, the state must be fast, simple, accessible, professional and accountable,” Minister Hoxha said.
