Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

On the 33rd anniversary of the entry into force of the Maastricht Treaty, which marked a historic milestone in the creation of the European Union, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, has reaffirmed Albania’s European perspective and its aspiration to become part of the European family.

In a message published on social media, Minister Hoxha emphasizes that this anniversary points Albania towards the future and the place it aspires to take at the European table, where it will share responsibilities, make its contribution, and participate in shaping the continent’s common future.

Minister Hoxha underlines that Albania’s European identity has deep roots and that, through the reforms undertaken at home and increasingly strong partnerships across Europe, its European ambition is gradually becoming a reality.

“Our path is clear. Our future is exclusively European,” Minister Hoxha states in his message.
