The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, is paying an official visit to Berlin, Germany, where he met with Minister of State for Europe, Gunther Krichbaum.

Hoxha and Krichbaum discussed Albania’s EU accession path and its unwavering commitment to reforms and sustainable progress.

The ministers also focused on Germany’s strong support for EU enlargement and their shared determination to ensure a credible, merit-based accession process that translates reforms into concrete steps towards full membership.

In a post on the social media platform X following the meeting, Hoxha underlined that “Germany is a key partner and a strong supporter of Albania’s European journey.”

“We deeply value this partnership and look forward to working even more closely together towards stronger bilateral relations and our shared European future,” the Foreign Minister stated.
