Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a discussion in Bucharest with students of the Franco-Romanian College of European Studies, focusing on Albania and its path towards European Union membership, as well as the future of Europe itself.

The discussion focused on the challenges facing Europe in an increasingly uncertain world, the spread of disinformation, technological transformations, and the particular responsibility of young people in addressing these developments.

Minister Hoxha shared with the students his conviction that the Europe of tomorrow will not simply be the Europe that the younger generation inherits, but the one they themselves choose to build, completing the reunification of the continent and giving full meaning to our common European home.

The Minister praised the students’ interest, questions and the quality of the discussion, underlining the importance of young people’s engagement in shaping Europe’s future.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Albania’s European perspective and the role young people can play in building a more united, resilient Europe, better prepared to face the challenges of the future.
